CRUEL WORLD

In this cruel world that we live in, it is expected that people will not always play fair in every game. That's why most women are likely to be the victims of being abused either physical, mental, verbal or sexual ways because of having to be known as slightly weaker and can not fight back to a man. Oftenly, their partners are the ones who commit this violences.

Based on the 2017 National Demographic Health Survey's , or NDHS, preliminary findings, 1 in every 4 married women (aged 15-49) has experienced physical, mental, verbal or sexual abuse/violence by their husband.

But now we can let our worries be lessened, because now we have a law that can protect women. It is The Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 or the RA 9262. This law protects women's rights. Not only does it protect the women's rights, but protects the children's rights as well. Nontheless, this law can't stop all the abuses that are happening, because we have to engrave in our minds, that this law does not hold the mind of the abuser. It did somehow lessend the violence that are happening, but out there, there is still someone who needs help.

Lets make a move to help these people to escape the nightmare that they are trapped in. And one way to help, is to educate everyone. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
